Afrobeats
The Sound of a Generation explores the explosive rise of a music phenomenon born in Nigeria’s cultural capital, Lagos. This film follows a wave of ambitious young artists, DJs, influencers, and entrepreneurs as they lift Afrobeats out of the grassroots and onto the world stage. From radio stations and neighborhood bars to influencer networks and all-night studio sessions by aspiring stars, the film captures both the relentless grind behind the sound and the kinetic energy of Lagos, the dreams, the challenges, the broken hopes and achievements that fuel a generation.
