An award-winning filmmaker, Idrissou Mora-Kpai is the recipient of the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship and the Prince Claus Award.
He is Associate Professor at the Pratt Institute’s School of Art in Brooklyn, New York and has previously taught at Duke University, the University of Pittsburgh, and Ithaca College.

His socially relevant films, including “Si-Gueriki, The Queen Mother,” “Arlit, The Second Paris,” “Indochina Traces of a Mother,” and “America Street“, have screened at prestigious festivals worldwide, such as Berlin, Rotterdam, Vienna, Milano, Busan, Marseille, and Sheffield, earning international acclaim and numerous awards.
